Suite 304 in Paradise Ridge on Mt. Washington is a luxuriously appointed suite. Attention to detail has been used in the recent redecoration of this condo. Upgrades to the unit this year include beautiful new countertops with a gorgeous slate backsplash. The addition of a kingsize bed in the masterbedroom along with new linens (450 count egyptian cotton) will pretty much guarantee a restful sleep after an energetic day on the slopes! The main bathroom has new vessel sink and countertop. Brand-new front load washer and dryer to do our portion of good environmental practices!
This unit is a 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom with many amenities. The kitchen has all the utensils and space-with plenty of room for helpers-to produce gourmet fare and has a wide variety of staples provided (spices, sugar).
The kitchen appliances include: blender, toaster oven, fondu pot,waffle iron, rice cooker, and espresso machine as well as the standard microwave, dishwasher, fridge/stove. There's a propane barbeque on the balcony, nothing like grilled steaks, or for you omnivores, grilled veggies... The livingroom has a large entertainment centre with a 27" TV, VCR (plenty of movies), DVD player, and stereo CD player. There's a propane fireplace for quick warmups and ambiance. Both bathrooms consist of full tub/shower units, with the tubs being extra deep. No jets as the jacuzzi, sauna, and pool are located just steps away from this unit. There's a full-size washer and dryer to keep up on the long-johns or bathing-suits.
Internet is available free of charge.
The master bedroom has been tastefully filled with antique furniture and cozy linens. The 2nd bedroom consists of a bunkbed (single/double) and a twin bed. This unit sleeps 6 privately and very comfortably. The 2nd bedroom also has a TV, VCR,DVD, and Nintendo GameCube with an assortment of video games. There's a variety of board games to keep the family together through the evening. This condo has been set up to accommodate guests 365 days of the year. For the past 5 summers this unit has been used as a honeymoon suite and some of the newlyweds have even come back to celebrate their anniversary! This unit has a romantic atmosphere as well as being practical for families.
This unit does not allow pets and is non-smoking.
A scenic 10 minute walk through the old alpine village gets you to the main lodge and restaurant. Downtown Courtenay, a delightful place to browse, grab a bite, or see a movie, is a 25-minute drive and local beaches are 30 minutes away from the condo.
Check-in is 3pm and check-out is 2pm. Linens are provided at no extra cost. Cleaning may be available and starts at $60 and does not include laundry.
